Better than a ten horsepower disposal

        Do you remember the TV show “Home Improvement” and how Tim “the tool man” Taylor was always on a quest to beef up his power tools?  Does anybody really need a ten horsepower disposal?  As Spirit-filled Christians our lives should be a mirror of His greater power in us. Tim always wanted to re-wire his power tools to make them more powerful….the baptism of the Holy Spirit is how we are re-wired so we can live the greater power life Jesus promised.
  Acts 1:18- Are you an attractive witness of Jesus Christ?  The power relationship of the Holy Spirit is what produces the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22,23).  The fruit of this relationship is what will attract others that come across our paths.  We need all the Spirit’s fruit active in our lives to make us attractive and empowered to be effectual witnesses. We need the greater power that the Holy Spirit will give us in wisdom, words and works to cast down the vain imaginations and foolish arguments with which the enemy will try to limit our effectiveness.  In closing, it is in our relationship with the Holy Spirit that will enable us to live the victorious life of greater power for the Kingdom of God.  Your prayer life is what determines your power level.  Let His fruit be seen in you, have a tangible sensory experience with Him develop a prayer life and you will achieve His greater power and I promise you its better than a ten horsepower disposal!
